In 2020 and 2021, though we were facing the challenges of the pandemic, the GMR offered annual scholarships to 3 different Florida Universities; USF, UNF, and UCF. Since 2013 we have contributed through strong partnerships between retailers and members to eight scholarship funds at the University of South Florida, University of North Florida, University of Central Florida, as well as Florida Gulf Coast University, University of Florida, Florida State University, Florida Atlantic University, and the Florida International University.

We currently have one endowment scholarship paid in full to University of South Florida, and two additional endowment scholarships we are working towards paying at two additional schools, University of North Florida, and Florida Gulf Coast University.
